The Gratitude of God's Blessing in OFWTCC
Looking back, the Overseas Filipino Workers Toledo Credit Cooperative (OFWTCC) was truly born out of God’s grace. From the very beginning, His hand has been guiding us, sustaining us, and showing us that every step forward is a testament of His love and provision. We have faced storms—literally and figuratively. The COVID-19 pandemic shook the whole world and tested our resilience. Then came Typhoon Odette, which devastated lives and communities. On top of these were countless other challenges that tried to weaken our faith and our cooperative.
Yet by the grace of God, we endured, we survived, and we continued to grow.Indeed, if not for Him, we would not be here today. He is the One who blessed us so that we can be a blessing to others. As it is written in Colossians 3:23, “And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men. Knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Jesus Christ.”Now, as we celebrate the milestone of having established our first satellite office in Compostela, we believe this is only the beginning. More doors will open, more communities will be reached, and more lives will be touched through OFWTCC. But in everything, we must remind ourselves: Who is the Author of our story? Who holds our future and the future of this cooperative? It is God alone. To Him belongs all the glory, honor, and praise.
To our beloved General Manager, Engr. Dennis Abella (Co-founder), our Board of Directors, our hardworking staff, and our faithful members — you are the channels of God’s blessings, extending help and hope to our community and to our fellow “Kabanay Toledonhon.” Let us continue to serve with humility, excellence, and compassion. And as the Lord Himself said in Jeremiah 32:27, “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh; is anything too difficult for Me?” Truly, nothing is impossible with Him. With God at the center of OFWTCC, we look forward with confidence and expectation of the greater things He will do through us and for us.
